The company was founded in 1993 by Robert “Bob” Mayer and Manuel “Manu” Da Costa, both seasoned professionals with extensive managerial experience in global import-export businesses. Before founding the company, they held key roles in leading multinational corporations such as DHL, Maersk, and C.H. Robinson, gaining firsthand insight into the complexities of international trade.

Through their experience, they realized that the management of goods and logistics was often unnecessarily complicated, creating inefficiencies, higher costs, and bureaucratic hurdles. They understood that both clients and suppliers needed a simpler, more streamlined way to manage transactions and supply chains.
